Grouped around The Studio are lectures and seminars like Architecture Theory, Urbanism, CAD/Logic/Presentation as core compulsory subjects as well as two electives which stand in close relation to the studio theme and can be picked individually:

* For foreign students, this part of the studio is compulsory; number of lessons: 4 SWS in semesters 1 - 3.
A proof of attendance has to be presented to obtain the credits for the module Studio.
** The optional-compulsory modules are related to the content of the studio lessons. Depending on the studio task, varying optional-compulsory modules offered by the university may be attended.
